The Role

Our children's services enjoy the support of a shared services team based out of our central office in Sydney’s CBD. Our Employee Wellness and Safety team is seeking a Repairs and Maintenance Coordinator to work Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, accruing one monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO).

This position will see you providing support services to all of our services across the eastern seaboard of Australia. The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Dealing with email and phone inquiries
  • Liaising with remote sites and 3rd party suppliers
  • Logging and tracking job requisitions (using Excel)
  • Training and inductions 
  • Compiling reports for shareholders

What we're looking for

We want you to be as passionate about early childhood education and as committed to achieving positive outcomes as we are. In addition, you will have:

  • Unlimited work rights to enable you to work in Australia
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with councils is highly desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisation and administrative skills
  • Computer literacy numeracy and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with property owners, managing agents, local councils and property contractors
  • Collation and presentation of statistics to assist in organisation decision making
  • Current and valid General WHS Induction for Construction Work White Card (NSW or equivalent)
  • Current and valid Australian driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel throughout NSW and interstate including overnight stays as required.
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check

*The preferred candidate would also have a Certificate III in Property Services (Operations) or equivalent knowledge and experience
